Black Sea CONNECT has been honored with Black Sea Project Award at the Black Sea CMA Stakeholder Conference 2024!
The Black Sea Common Maritime Agenda Stakeholder Conference 2024, held on 11-12 September in Moldova, showcased groundbreaking advancements and collaborations in the region’s maritime and blue economy sectors. The event brought together key figures from across the Black Sea region, including policymakers, blue economy sector representatives, and researchers working towards a sustainable future for the Black Sea.
Among the prominent participants were Barış Salihoğlu and Mustafa Yücel, coordinators of the H2020 Black Sea CONNECT project, which has emerged as a cornerstone of the region’s Blue Economy. During the conference, the Black Sea CONNECT project earned top honors, receiving the prestigious award for “Competitive, Innovative, and Sustainable Blue Economy for the Black Sea.” In addition to this prestigious award, Black Sea CONNECT also received “Winners of Winners” award, further emphasizing the project’s impact in the region.
