CulTourE4Youth Project – Supporting Youth Entrepreneurship in Cultural Tourism for coastal communities

On November 30, 2021, a great workshop for young entrepreneurs was physically held in Mersin/Mediterranean Region in Turkey, as part of the “CulTourE4Youth Project – Supporting Youth Entrepreneurship in Cultural Tourism for coastal communities” project within the activities coordinated by the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC); under the direction of International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) in cooperation with the CPMR Balkan and Black Sea Commission and the Black Sea CONNECT coordinator METU Institute of Marine Sciences. 

As a part of the event, Black Sea CONNECT representatives gave information on the evaluation of cultural tourism within the framework of the blue economy, supporting young entrepreneurship, and transferring the Black Sea blue economy experience gained in the Black Sea CONNECT project to Mersin.

After the inspiring speeches of valuable academicians and entrepreneurs carrying out sectoral activities, young entrepreneurs had the opportunity to share their understanding of entrepreneurship, expectations, plans, and their current works with other participants in the group discussion.
