Post- Webinar on Research and Innovation Towards Cultivating The Potential For Blue Entrepreneurship
Regional Webinar on Supporting the Common Maritime Agenda Priorities with Research and Innovation towards Cultivating the Potential for Blue Entrepreneurship took place online with the participation of more than 140 participants.
The event was hosted under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and co-chaired by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey under the Turkish Coordination of the Steering Group of the CMA. In two dedicated sessions, R&I’s needs towards sectors that would create potentials and opportunities for entrepreneurs were discussed. The first plenary session showcased the best practices resulting from the different sea-basin strategies that aim at boosting Blue Growth to inspire Black Sea SRIA Implementation. Building on the three sectors identified within the blue economy context in the Black Sea, the second plenary session, gathered input to the R&I needs within these sectors. The outputs of the 2 plenary sessions will be synthesized to move forward with the implementation of the CMA and Black Sea SRIA as its scientific pillar.
