OCEAN SCIENCES MEETING 2022: ‘‘Come Together and Connect!’’
The Black Sea CONNECT will be represented in the Ocean Sciences Meeting which will be held on Feb 27 – March 04, 2022. This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of working together. “Come Together and Connect” focuses on strengthening the ocean sciences community through discussing both basic and applied research while making scientific and social connections.
Based on this theme, Black Sea CONNECT coordinator METU-IMS representatives will participate in the event to give insights about the blue economy and building a bridge between science and policy for restoring the resilience of regional seas.
Jointly sponsored by the American Geophysical Union (AGU), the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), and The Oceanography Society (TOS), the Oceanic Sciences Meeting (OSM) provides invaluable opportunities to address emerging ocean issues, share information, and create a network for all oceanographers, from those doing basic research to those working on solutions for the ocean we want.
In the OSM 2022, where there will be outstanding presentations and knowledge sharing with plenary speakers, oral sessions, and conversations, while many attendees will meet physically in Honolulu, it is also possible to participate online!
